Today dated 11 June 2022, Department of Commerce and Entrepreneurship Development Cell under the banner of Aatmnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan organized a One Day National Seminar (online) on the topic ‘Entrepreneurial India: A Fascinating Vision’. The seminar was approved by Directorate General Higher Education, Haryana (Panchkula). The inaugural session began with Saraswati Vandana after which Principal Dr. Sudesh Rawal welcomed the guests, speakers, participants, and the students. Justification of the theme was elaborated upon by Dr. Karnika Gupta, Convener of the Seminar. Dr. Suparn Sharma, Associate Professor & I/c. Dean, Faculty of Management, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu was the keynote speaker and he deliberated upon the topic “Entrepreneurial Practices and Agricultural Sector”. The first resource person of this session was Mr. Mahendra Kumar Gupta who is Founder of Udyamita Sanskar Foundation, CEO of INurture Incubation Foundation (TBI), and also working as a Startup Enabler, Motivator, and Mentor for industrialization and entrepreneurship, based at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He talked on “Innovation Driven Entrepreneurship eco-system in India”. Then, second resource person Dr. Anu Sahi, Assistant Professor (Sr Scale), School of Management, Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering, Technical Campus, Jalandhar, Punjab delivered lecture on “Business Plan”. In the end of this session, Dr. Sangita Mehta, Seminar Co-convener thanked the guests and speakers. More than 60 participants from different states across India including Haryana, Punjab, Tamilnadu, Jharkhand, and Chaatisgarh attended the seminar and presented their research papers in technical sessions. Dr. Sunita Sharma from SNRL Jairam Girls College, Lohar Majra chaired the technical sessions. After technical sessions, organizing secretary of the seminar Dr. Preeti Sharma presented a report and delivered formal vote of thanks. The Seminar was completed with the Verses of National Anthem./p>
